Hey all!
I just wanted to reach out and offer my services as a mixing engineer to anyone who is hoping to give their demos or singles some extra edge (not to mention keep my own skills sharp)!
If there is anyone in this community that is in the process of learning how to record and mix their own music as well, I would be happy to either A) Have you e-mail your sound files to me and do a lesson via Zoom Screen share or B) Have you share your sessions via Zoom where I can comment and help make some tweaks.
One other idea I had would be to stream my mix sessions of your stuff on Twitch/YouTube with a button for donations, as well as an open invitation for any and all participants to share their stories, charities they are currently supporting, representatives/leadership to e-mail, anything. I'm in the process of getting a YouTube account going and will post one of my recent Pro Tools demo streams once it is up and running.
Just FYI, I work almost exclusively in Pro Tools, but am experienced in Logic Pro and have some working knowledge of Ableton Live.
Let me know if this is something that interests you! I work full time during the week in the Audio Department for a book publisher, so my availability may vary from week to week, but I'm happy to take on whatever I can!
Hope to hear from you soon :)
Sam
Thank you for offering all this! We also have access to a pro gsuite account at Trans Trenderz where we can host meetings & record them if we wanted to save them to the archives :) Let us know how we can help facilitate stuff and we will :D
